Analyst Says Bitcoin Could Hit $80,000 Before Halving

In a recent post on X, prominent crypto veteran Micheal van de Poppe shared his Bitcoin (BTC) price prediction ahead of the Halving. He tweeted on March 27, highlighting the potential region the flagship crypto could attain before this highly-anticipated event. Micheal Poppe asserted that Bitcoin (BTC) could stretch to a new record between $75,000 and $80,000.

This prognosis comes after BTC witnessed another surge to its $70,000 ATH on March 26. The analyst believes that Bitcoin is edging close to the climax of the pre-halving surge, with $80,000 being a possible checkpoint. He then expects a reversal to occur in the aftermath of this rally.

The chart shows that BTC increased 6.8% from $65,501 to $70,015 between March 22 and March 27. Per Poppe’s prediction, Bitcoin (BTC) is expected to witness a 14.2% surge to achieve the $80,000 price level. This forecast presents BTC as a good crypto to buy for gains before the Halving.

Expert Predicts Ethereum At $5,000 Soon

A renowned crypto expert, Jelle, shared his perception of Ethereum (ETH) in a recent tweet on the X platform on March 26. Jelle stated that ETH is showing off bullish tendencies, considering its successful retest of the $3,300 price mark. This momentum has paved the way for Ethereum (ETH) to reach higher price levels with less resistance.

Jelle affirmed that he’ll hang onto his ETH holding, outlining a target price to watch out for. According to him, $5,000 might be a good price point to monitor as Ethereum (ETH) holds the potential to reach it soon. His forecast comes amid the recent uptick across the market, which saw Ethereum (ETH) pick up upside momentum.

Ethereum (ETH) recorded a meager 0.7% increase from $3,492 on March 22 to $3,519 on March 27. The $5,000 target is 42% higher than the current price of ETH. It is worth noting that this prediction is subjective, and investment decisions should be made only after doing due diligence.
