How This $17 Shiba Inu Trade Made a Crypto Investor $15 Million

Press Releases

On a fateful October day in 2020, a trader spent $17 on a meme coin called Shiba Inu.

At the time, Shiba Inu was just a funny response to another joke coin, Dogecoin. Not many people took these shiba inu-themed tokens seriously.

At the time of the purchase, one Shiba Inu was worth a paltry $0.000000000085. That’s 10 zeros. The whole Shiba Inu project had a market cap of less than $10 million. With just $17, the investor bought more than 200 billion $SHIB.

The investor must have been thrilled with their purchase. Within a few months, $SHIB was up 10x. Their $17 investment turned into $170.

Then the unthinkable happened. $SHIB exploded higher with a speed almost never seen before in the history of finance. On April 1, 2020, $SHIB was priced at $0.00000005. On October 30, it hit an all time high of $0.000075.

The lucky investor scored a nearly 90 million percent gain in just over a year. Their original $17 grew to more than $15 million.

The investor’s wallet transaction history suggests that they used some of the returns to buy other meme coins, including Papa Elon, Star Elon, Egg Token, Samoyed Coin, and others.

However, their wallet also indicates that they still hold a significant amount of $SHIB tokens. Even though the price of $SHIB has come back to earth since 2021, it’s still priced at $0.0000072.

So, if that investor still holds more than 200 billion $SHIB, their stockpile is worth around $8 million.

Over the past two years, the investor who made millions from Shiba Inu has remained anonymous. Maybe someday they’ll reveal themself to the world, or maybe the story of their fortune will remain a closely guarded secret.

What Meme Coins Could be the Next Millionare Makers?

While pumps of this magnitude are once in a lifetime, investors need not worry because the meme coin market is rife with new promising opportunities. Two of these potential diamonds in the rough are Wall Street Memes and Thug Life, both of which are racing through their presales and allow traders to get in early at a discounted price.

Wall Street Memes Looks Set to Explode After Raising Almost $14m

Wall Street Memes is a new meme coin which has been widely celebrated since its launch, nearing $13.8 million in its presale in just over a month.

The project was created by a well-established social media meme brand with a one-million-strong community. Out the gate, Wall Street Memes got off to an explosive start, raising $100K within minutes.

Since its launch, the project has been praised by countless prominent crypto influencers and analysts. YouTuber Jacob Bury covered the token recently, calling it the next 10x meme coin.

That said, there could be even more upside potential; a $13.8 million total raise is a drop in the ocean compared to Shiba Inu’s $4.3 billion market cap.

One of the reasons for Wall Street Memes’ massive popularity is that its Twitter account has been retweeted by Elon Musk several times. This has led the community to compare Wall Street Memes to Dogecoin, massively exciting its investors.

Alongside its presale, the team is running an airdrop worth $50K, which will be distributed between five lucky community members. Participants can earn up to seven entries to the airdrop by completing simple tasks like joining the Wall Street Memes Telegram.

Thug Life Also Attracing Significant Interest as it Nears $1m Raised

One of the reasons investors became wildly rich from Shiba Inu was that they bought in when it was still a low-cap gem. Currently, investors may be poised with a similar opportunity with the Thug Life token.

While there is no telling how high it can go, this new presale meme coin has proven popular with those in the know, indicating big things may be on the horizon. So far, the presale has raised $800K, with a hard cap of $2,058,000 and a market cap at launch of $2,940,000.

Interestingly, the Thug Life token has been compared to Shiba Inu by popular YouTuber Michael Wrubel, who has over 300K followers. Not only does coverage from such well-known influencers add legitimacy to Thug Life, but it also means it is only a matter of time before the masses learn about it.

The project has recently updated its website with a roadmap. We are currently in phase one of three. According to the roadmap, the project aims to secure CEX listings, run an airdrop and giveaway, burn $THUG, gain partnerships and eventually hit a $100 million market cap.

If it achieves its market cap goal, this will result in a whopping 30x gain from its current price. Investors have just 7 days left to buy Thug Life on presale.
