Boeing’s (NYSE: BA) shares surged 3% in premarket trading on September 30 after the Pentagon announced the company would develop the U.S. Navy’s new strike fighter. However, a machine learning algorithm doesn’t think the uptick is likely to result in a general rally over the coming weeks.
Namely, as Finbold’s AI powered prediction tool suggests, the aerospace giant’s shares are actually going to decline 1.55% by the end of the next month. More specifically, the algorithm has generated an average Boeing stock price target of $184.83 for October 31, slightly lower than the reference price of $187.74 at press time.

Looking at the individual large language models (LLMs) that contributed to the average price, the figure takes on a new dimension. Notably, ChatGPT-5.7 predicted the stock could in fact climb another 2% and trade at $191.5 on October 31.
However, DeepSeek Chat and Gemini 3.5 Flas were bullish, the former predicting a dip of merely 0.13% and the other suggesting BA shares could suffer a 6.5% correction. This most bearish forecast implies a BA stock price target of $175.5 for the next four weeks.

Boeing stock outlook following new jet deal
With the new Pentagon deal, Boeing is once again at the center of attention, as the market ponders what could shape up to be a multibillion-dollar opportunity over its full lifecycle.
The contract announcement was reinforced by a wave of supportive analyst commentary. Susquehanna’s Charles Minervino, for example, reiterated a Buy rating and $285 price target, while UBS maintained its Buy rating and $275 price target, arguing that Boeing’s more than 20% decline since early August had significantly outpaced the deterioration in its underlying fundamentals.
Still, Boeing’s stock remains below its 20-day moving average (MA) of $202.63 and 60-day moving average of $214.30, while the broader downward trendline has yet to be convincingly broken. On the upside, the first key resistance zone is $190-$192, followed by $200-$203. A breakout above the latter range, particularly on strong volume, could open the door to a further move toward $215-$219.
