AI sets Nvidia stock price for October 1, 2026

AI sets Nvidia stock price for October 1, 2026

Stocks

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) could trade near $240 on October 1, 2026, according to an outlook generated by OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

The estimate represents the midpoint of a projected range between $225 and $245 and reflects continued strength in artificial intelligence infrastructure demand.

The ChatGPT NVDA share price forecast is based on Nvidia’s expectations for continued AI computing growth, rising analyst price targets, elevated GPU utilization rates, and ongoing spending from major technology companies.

Under a bullish scenario, Nvidia could climb as high as $270 by October 1, while a bearish outcome driven by weaker market sentiment or higher Treasury yields could pull the stock toward the $200 to $215 range. As of press time, Nvidia stock was trading at $222.

Nvidia bullish case

According to ChatGPT, one of the strongest factors supporting Nvidia’s outlook is continued AI infrastructure spending. Despite concerns that AI investment could slow, recent industry data suggests demand remains strong across cloud providers, enterprises, and data centers.

The market is already looking beyond Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture toward its next-generation Rubin platform. Analysts increasingly view Rubin as the company’s next major growth driver, with several brokerages recently raising price targets as confidence in future demand strengthens.

Demand indicators also remain favorable. GPU rental prices across AI cloud providers remain elevated while utilization rates are near capacity, suggesting demand continues to outpace supply.

At the same time, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) has emerged as another major source of demand. To this end, ChatGPT highlighted reports that the technology company has ordered roughly 2 million Nvidia processors as it expands AI capabilities across Amazon Web Services and robotics operations.

The development suggests major technology firms continue investing heavily in Nvidia hardware even while developing their own AI chips.

Nvidia valuations concerns

At the same time, the AI model noted that the debate around Nvidia’s valuation has also shifted. Instead of questioning whether the stock is overvalued, investors are increasingly focused on whether the company can maintain its position among the world’s most valuable firms.

Some analysts believe the market still underestimates the scale and duration of future AI spending.

Unlike earlier stages of the rally, Nvidia’s recent gains have been supported more by rising revenue and earnings expectations than by valuation expansion alone.

The company has also built a sizeable investment portfolio across AI infrastructure and technology firms, providing additional exposure to the broader AI ecosystem.

Despite the bullish outlook, Nvidia remains sensitive to broader market forces. Federal Reserve policy, Treasury yields, AI regulation, and spending plans from major technology companies could all influence sentiment.

As the market’s primary AI proxy stock, ChatGPT noted that Nvidia can still experience significant price swings even when its underlying fundamentals remain strong.
