Analyst revises Oracle (ORCL) stock price target

Analyst revises Oracle (ORCL) stock price target
Steve Muchoki

Although Oracle Corp. (NYSE: NYSE) saw its market capitalization fall by $146.4 billion so far in 2026, hovering at $407.1 billion on September 2, Mark Moerdler, a Wall Street analyst at Bernstein SocGen Group, expects another rally towards the all-time high (ATH) over the next 12 months.

Moerdler reiterated a ‘Buy’ rating for Oracle stock, according to a note sent to clients on Wednesday. He set the firm’s 12-month price target for ORCL at $325.

With Oracle stock trading at $143.95 at the time of writing, this analyst suggests a potential $125.77% upside over the next 12 months. This bullish thesis for ORCL is based on the expectations that the company will continue to benefit from the Artificial Intelligence (AI) boom through its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.

For the company’s first quarter (Q1) of financial year (FY) 2027, Oracle projects that total Cloud Revenue, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), will grow 57% to 63% year-over-year (YoY).

“We believe that the company is nearing the end of its need for additional cash. The value being created is substantial and not included in the valuation. We reiterate our Outperform rating,” Moerdler concluded.
