On August 4, Amit Daryanani, an expert at Evercore ISI, reiterated a ‘Buy’ rating for Apple stock. Daryanani also reaffirmed the firm’s 12-month price target for AAPL at $365, thereby suggesting a potential 19.14% upside.
The analyst’s Apple stock target was driven by consumer demand front-running expected price hikes. Additionally, the firm expressed confidence in the company’s ability to offset memory cost through pricing power, as it forecasts higher revenue fueled by AI (Artificial Intelligence) monetization from its vast user base.
On Tuesday, China Renaissance downscaled AAPL shares from a ‘Buy’ to a ‘Hold’ rating, and set a 12-month price target of $280.
Apple stock price forecast 2026
On August 3, Helena Wang, a Wall Street analyst at Phillip Securities, cut AAPL’s rating to a ‘Sell’ from a ‘Neutral’. Wang set the firm’s 12-month price target for Apple at $290, signaling a possible 5.33% downside.
On Monday, Ingo Wermann, a research expert at DZ Bank AG, downgraded Apple shares to a ‘Hold’ rating from a ‘Buy’. Wermann locked in the bank’s 12-month price target for this company at $310.
As such, 31 analysts surveyed by TipRanks have assigned an average 12-month price target of $333.18 for Apple stock, suggesting a potential 8.10% upside.

Over the last five days, AAPL stock dropped by 9.83%, trading at $306.37 at press time. Consequently, the company had a market capitalization of approximately $4.5 trillion.

With Apple stock having recently hit an all-time high of slightly above $344, the consensus ‘Moderate Buy’ rating from Wall Street analysts suggests that AAPL shares may have topped out.
