Chromia (CHR), a Layer-1 relational blockchain platform, has announced the launch of its incentivized testing program, as per the latest updates shared with Finbold on June 11.
Offering participants a chance to win a share of 250,000 CHR tokens, the program features three separate initiatives, each operating on Chromia’s mainnet release candidate network.
Alex Mizrahi, Co-Founder of Chromia, expressed enthusiasm for the new testing program, highlighting the robustness of this blockchain platform:
Picks for you
“We are excited to invite users to explore our innovative platform through this incentivized testing program. Ahead of the mainnet release, this is an opportunity to showcase the robustness and reliability of our technology, while also giving our loyal community the chance to contribute to shaping the future of the Chromia ecosystem.”
Chromia testing program initiatives
The testnet allows users to interact with the Chromia Vault wallet and testnet CHR tokens on a Chromia-powered network for the first time.
The first two initiatives, HackNet and ProjectNet, launch on June 11.
HackNet is geared towards coders and tech-savvy users looking to evaluate Chromia’s core software and identify edge cases.
It will run until June 28 to align with the conclusion of Trail of Bits’ third-party audit, offering up to 100,000 CHR in rewards.
ProjectNet, on the other hand, invites developers to explore Rell and build on Chromia, even without prior Rell experience.
The Demo dApp Contest encourages submissions from devs experienced in Web2 and Web3 development, whether original or adaptations of existing apps.
A panel of six Chromia team members from development, business development, and marketing will select the winning ProjectNet dApps, and the top three submissions will share a 50,000 CHR prize pool.
Submissions are accepted until July 26.
Engaging everyday users with QuestNet
The final initiative, QuestNet, begins on June 18 and aims to engage everyday users through a user-friendly dashboard promoting interaction with functions such as Chromia Vault and various dApps.
A total of 100,000 CHR will be distributed as lotteries at the program’s end, with eligibility criteria undisclosed beforehand.
Participants are also encouraged to complete all quests, regularly check the dashboard, and stay updated on social media to maximize their reward potential.
Showcasing Chromia’s scaling capabilities
The incentivized testing program aims to showcase Chromia’s capabilities across various verticals, such as digital collectibles, gaming, real-world assets (RWAs), and sports.
Chromia’s horizontal scaling capabilities allow it to handle parallel tasks and support high-performance gaming dApps.
With its modular framework and relational blockchain technology, Chromia is set to revolutionize the development and use of decentralized applications.
