Singapore-based cryptocurrency platform, Crypto.com, announced on August 23 that it completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II Compliance audit.
Notably, the audit carried out by Deloitte, a globally recognized auditing and consulting firm, demonstrates that Crypto.com adheres to the most stringent standards in terms of data privacy and data protection, as per a press release by the crypto exchange.
Deloitte confirmed that Crypto.com’s information security processes, policies, procedures, and operations comply with AICPA Trust Services Criteria in Security, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy.

Notably, the news follows Crypto.com’s announcement last week that it signed a pre-registration undertaking with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) in Canada as well as received registration approval as a crypto asset business from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
