Hashrate Hackers, powered by Blockware, a mining-as-a-service provider in North America, announces the launch of a new initiative aimed at blending the Ordinals community with Bitcoin mining. “We’ll let the market determine the collection size, but envision a $5 million, or even a $10 million operation, where holders vie for an entire Bitcoin every month,” said Mason Jappa, CEO of Blockware. The initiative will introduce “Hacks”—themed events and activities where Ordinals holders can participate by building computing power and competing within set timeframes for potential rewards.
The Art
According to the team, this collection presents a distinct visual approach, featuring over 200 meticulously crafted traits, including nearly 40 unique 1:1 tribute pieces inspired by cultural figures in the Bitcoin space.
The team describes the pixel-based design as drawing inspiration from classic pixel art collections and the imagery of cloaked figures from early television broadcasts. While maintaining simple geometric shapes, it incorporates smooth gradients and vectored layers, blending urban sci-fi and steampunk influences.
The project is positioned as a modern take on familiar themes, reflecting elements of anonymity and unconventional creativity that, according to the team, have been associated with Bitcoin’s early adopters.
