Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) tied to enterprise software, cloud computing, video gaming, and innovation stocks delivered some of the strongest gains in the market over the past week.

The rally was led by SAP-focused exposure after the German software giant reported stronger-than-expected cloud growth and backlog figures, while cloud, gaming, and innovation themes benefited from renewed investor interest in high-growth technology segments.

Top 5 ETFs of the week

The strongest performer for the week was ADRH SAP SE, which gained 21.22%. The ETF, which provides concentrated exposure to SAP through American Depositary Receipts, surged after SAP reported a cloud order backlog of €22.9 billion, representing 27% year-over-year growth on a constant-currency basis. The company also recorded cloud revenue growth of between 22% and 24%, while Cloud ERP Suite revenue increased 25%.

SAP reaffirmed its full-year cloud revenue guidance despite lowering its operating profit outlook to account for integration costs related to its acquisitions of Dremio and Prior Labs. Investor sentiment was further supported by a new share buyback program, antitrust regulatory clearances, and insider purchases by the company’s chief executive.

The second-best performer was the WisdomTree Cloud Computing Fund (WCLD), which advanced 11.14% during the week. The cloud computing ETF tracks emerging software and cloud-focused companies operating across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data services. The gain reflected continued investor demand for software-as-a-service businesses and cloud platforms with strong revenue growth potential.

Video game ETFs also posted double-digit returns. The Roundhill Video Games ETF (NERD) climbed 10.79%, while the Global X Video Games & Esports ETF (HERO) added 10.68%.

Both funds hold companies exposed to gaming, esports, and digital entertainment, including publishers, developers, and platform providers. The sector benefited from improving industry fundamentals, stronger engagement trends, and continued expansion of live-service gaming models.

Rounding out the top five was the Alger Russell Innovation ETF (INVN), which gained 10.58%. The innovation ETF invests in growth-oriented companies across technology, healthcare, consumer, and digital payments sectors. Its advance was driven by continued investor interest in businesses positioned to benefit from artificial intelligence adoption, digital transformation, and cloud-based services.

Time to buy?

The latest ETF leaderboard highlights a clear rotation toward technology-driven growth themes. However, whether these funds remain attractive buying opportunities depends largely on investment objectives and risk tolerance.

For long-term investors, cloud computing, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and digital entertainment remain areas supported by structural growth trends. However, after a week of double-digit gains, investors may want to assess valuations and upcoming earnings catalysts before initiating new positions.

The week’s performance suggests capital is flowing back into selected growth sectors, but sustained gains will likely depend on whether underlying companies continue delivering strong revenue growth and earnings momentum.
