Lumia announces a HyperNodes sale to help launch Its L2 liquidity layer

Lumia, the zkEVM Layer-2 network, has announced the sale of its HyperNodes as a step towards revolutionizing data availability and on-chain liquidity, as per the latest information shared with Finbold on July 18.

Nodes are now available for purchase at node.lumia.org, and the community can participate in decentralizing the Layer 2 network to support Lumia on its mission to transform on-chain liquidity.

What are Lumia HyperNodes?

In collaboration with Polygon and GatewayFM, Lumia leverages its Data Availability Committee (DAC) nodes, known as HyperNodes, to ensure unparalleled scalability, security, and compliance.

Polygon Founder Sandeep Nailwal, who played a crucial role in shaping the architecture of Lumia HyperNodes, expressed optimism for Lumia’s product, stating:

“It has been extremely interesting to brainstorm the design space and come up with optimal architecture for Lumia’s upcoming validium with their tech team. I feel that a staked DAC secured validium that lumia is building using Polygon technology could fast become the industry standard for the projects to launch their chains.”

Toward a new standard in data availability and liquidity

HyperNodes are central to Lumia’s data availability and liquidity management.

By utilizing DAC nodes, Lumia tackles critical blockchain challenges, ensuring transaction data is securely stored and accessible while maintaining compliance with various jurisdictions.

This mitigates risks associated with data loss or manipulation, setting a new benchmark for blockchain integrity.

HyperNodes operators also earn real yield through trading fees and transaction data verification, while standing to benefit from other revenue streams.

This creates a direct financial incentive for active participation and contribution to the network.

Better cost predictability

Lumia HyperNodes ensure rapid data availability confirmations through a smaller, permissioned group of nodes while offering better cost predictability for resource allocation.

The HyperNodes sale presents a significant opportunity for investors and blockchain developers to engage in a decentralized, secure, and efficient ecosystem.

By leveraging advanced cryptographic techniques, a private DAC network, and a decentralized data availability layer with NearDA, Lumia is expected to be at the forefront of innovation in blockchain technology
