The Finbold AI Agent is projecting that Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) stock is likely to see a modest decline by October 1.
Using predictions from multiple artificial intelligence models, the agent forecasts that MU will trade at an average price of $915.31 by October 1, 2026, representing a 0.93% decline from its current price of $923.88.

Overall, the projection suggests that AI models expect the memory-chip maker to remain largely range-bound over the next two weeks despite continued strength in the AI semiconductor market.
Among the individual models, GPT-5.7 Luna delivered the most bullish outlook, projecting Micron stock at $955, representing a 3.37% gain from current levels.
DeepSeek Chat was the most bearish, forecasting a price of $895.42, while Gemini 3.5 Flash predicted $895.50, both implying declines of just over 3%.

MU stock fundamentals
The relatively stable forecast comes as Micron remains one of the biggest beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence infrastructure boom.
The company recently reported record fiscal third-quarter results, with revenue surging to $41.46 billion, while management guided for approximately $50 billion in fourth-quarter revenue. Micron also disclosed $22 billion in strategic customer agreements designed to secure memory-chip supply amid strong demand from AI data centers.
Demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), a key component used in Nvidia’s AI accelerators, continues to exceed industry supply.
Micron stated that its HBM4 products are already in high-volume shipments and that supply constraints across the memory market could persist beyond 2027.
Industry analysts also expect memory chips to remain one of the fastest-growing segments of the semiconductor market as AI workloads drive higher demand for DRAM and NAND products. Supply shortages and rising memory prices have further strengthened Micron’s earnings outlook.
Investors are also watching Micron’s upcoming quarterly earnings report, scheduled for September 30, as the company seeks to extend its AI-driven growth streak. Analyst expectations remain elevated due to ongoing memory shortages and robust pricing trends across the industry.
While Micron shares have recently faced volatility alongside other semiconductor stocks amid broader concerns about the pace of AI investment, the company’s exposure to high-bandwidth memory and data-center demand continues to support its long-term growth outlook.
