Morgan Stanley reiterated its “Overweight” rating on SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) and maintained its SpaceX stock price target of $300 on October 14.
Elaborating on the bullish call, analyst Adam Jonas identified the company’s Distributed Inference Cloud (DIC) as a major growth opportunity that investors may be overlooking.
Jonas views the space giant’s initiatives as instrumental to the development of what it calls the “Super Intelligence Economy” and the “Physical Intelligence Economy.”
Namely, the analyst expects the growing density of physical artificial intelligence (AI) agents to increase the collective intelligence of interconnected mobile systems, potentially opening up new applications for distributed computing.
Currently valued at approximately $2.12 trillion, SpaceX shares trade at $153.98 at press time, well below their 52-week high of $225.64.

SpaceX stock will benefit from advancements in artificial intelligence, Morgan Stanley says
To illustrate what his prediction means, Jonas drew comparisons with biological systems. Namely, he noted that the human brain operates at hundreds of petaflops while consuming approximately 20 watts of power, relying on 86 billion neurons and 100 trillion synaptic connections.
But, he also pointed to ant colonies, where individual ants have limited capabilities but a mature colony of approximately 15,000 can function as an intelligent swarm to exchange information through pheromones and microvibrations.
Morgan Stanley believes distributed inference infrastructure and physical AI swarms are approaching a similar breakthrough in investor awareness.
Meanwhile, SpaceX revenue growth is expected to grow 145% in fiscal 2026, despite the company’s current losses.
Wall Street unanimously bullish on SpaceX stock price targets
Morgan Stanley’s price target is significantly higher than the average SpaceX stock price forecast for the next 12 months, which currently sits at $216 and implies an upside potential of 40%, to cite TipRanks figures.

The target given by Morgan Stanley, on the other hand, expects a 95% rally in the span of a year. The bank’s rating is also in line with that of 28 other analysts over the past three months. Together with five “Hold” and two “Sell” ratings, their consensus on the space company is “Moderate Buy.”
