Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) could reach $238 after its August 26 earnings report, according to a ChatGPT analysis based on continued strength in AI infrastructure spending and adoption of its Blackwell systems.
The target implies upside of about 7% from Nvidia’s press-time trading value of $224 and assumes the company will once again beat Wall Street expectations while maintaining a strong growth outlook.

The earnings report is one of Wall Street’s most closely watched events, with investors looking for evidence that AI spending remains robust.
Analysts expect Nvidia to post revenue of about $91.9 billion and earnings per share of $2.07, up from $81.6 billion in the previous quarter.
Markets will be focused on Blackwell shipments, AI demand, and management’s guidance, particularly for signs that quarterly revenue could soon exceed $100 billion.
According to ChatGPT’s assessment, the most likely outcome is that Nvidia reports revenue of $93 billion to $95 billion, ahead of consensus estimates, with earnings per share of $2.10 to $2.18.
The forecast also assumes strong Blackwell demand and guidance that modestly exceeds expectations.
Nvidia stock price post earnings
Under this scenario, Nvidia stock could gain 4% to 8%, implying a post-earnings range of roughly $230 to $242, with a projected price near $238.
A stronger rally is possible if Nvidia delivers revenue above $96 billion, earnings per share above $2.20, and guidance indicating quarterly revenue could soon approach or surpass $100 billion. In that case, shares could rise 12% to 18%, reaching the $250 to $265 range.
The bullish outlook is supported by continued AI spending from major cloud providers, expanding inference workloads and growing demand from sovereign AI initiatives.
At the same time, heading into the earnings, the main risk is weaker-than-expected guidance rather than an earnings miss.
Therefore, signs of slower Blackwell adoption, softer AI demand, lower margins, or reduced spending by major customers could send Nvidia shares down 8% to 15%, into the $190 to $205 range.

Longer term, ChatGPT projected that Nvidia could advance toward $275 to $300 by the end of 2026 if AI demand and revenue growth continue to accelerate.
