Semiconductor giant Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) is set to distribute its next quarterly dividend on October 1, 2026, less than three weeks from now.
In this vein, investors who owned the stock before the September 10 ex-dividend date will qualify for the payment.
Notably, the upcoming Nvidia dividend payment stands at $0.25 per share. As a result, an investor holding 100 NVDA shares would receive $25 in cash from the distribution.
According to the latest dividend data, Nvidia’s next estimated dividend amount remains unchanged at $0.25 per share. The company has maintained quarterly dividend payments and increased its dividend for three consecutive years.
At the current annualized rate of $1 per share, Nvidia offers a dividend yield of about 0.46%. The company’s forward payout ratio stands at 6.37%, highlighting that only a small portion of earnings is being returned to shareholders through dividends.

While the yield remains modest compared to traditional income stocks, Nvidia’s dividend growth accelerated significantly over the past year following its increase from the previous $0.01 quarterly payout.
The dividend comes as Nvidia remains one of the biggest beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence boom.
Nvidia stock fundamentals
The technology company has expanded beyond graphics processors into full-scale AI infrastructure, supplying integrated systems that combine GPUs, CPUs, networking technology, and software for large-scale AI deployments.
Its latest Vera Rubin platform is being rolled out across major cloud providers, including Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, and CoreWeave.
Demand for AI computing capacity continues to exceed supply, with the technology giant projecting roughly 70% revenue growth for fiscal 2028.
Management has indicated that production constraints, particularly around memory availability, remain the primary limiting factor rather than demand.
The firm’s financial performance reflects that strength, having generated about $303 billion in trailing revenue and nearly $193 billion in net income. Gross margins remain around 75%, while free cash flow continues to support both dividend payments and large-scale share repurchases.
In its latest quarter, Nvidia returned approximately $26 billion to shareholders through dividends and buybacks. The low payout ratio also leaves room for future dividend increases if earnings and cash generation continue to expand.
