One of the most important companies in the world in the ongoing artificial intelligence (AI) boom, the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TPE: 2330, NYSE: TSM) is scheduled to pay its next quarterly dividend next week.
Specifically, TSMC revealed the next payment will be made to both American and Taiwanese investors on Thursday, October 8, though the yield and amount for the two listings will not be equal.
In Taipei, the semiconductor foundry is trading at 2,510 TWD ($78.57), and next week’s quarterly dividend will amount to 7 TWD ($0.22), per the company’s own website. Thus, owning 100 of these shares will yield 700 TWD ($21.91).

Considering the ex-dividend date came and passed on September 12, and the firm stood at 2,410 TWD one day before, receiving 700 TWD would have required a 241,000 TWD ($7,544.22) investment.
Meanwhile, TSM stock’s latest closing price in New York was $456.19, and the equity will distribute $1.11 to its stockholders. Since the ex-dividend date was the same for both listings and TSMC closed at $433.24 on September 11, a $43,324 investment made then will have yielded $111 on October 8, 2026.

TSMC stock price performance in 2026 and 2027
Elsewhere, the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has been recording strong performance through 2026, meaning the relatively small quarterly payment is far from the only thing to gladden its shareholders.
Indeed, TSM stock started 2026 at $319.61 and rallied 42.73% to $456.19 by the September 30 evening bell. For comparison, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), the world’s largest company, rose 20.93% within the same timeframe, and the benchmark S&P 500 market index is up 11.56% year-to-date (YTD).

Furthermore, TSMC’s shares appear likely to continue impressing in the next 12 months. The Wall Street analyst consensus for the stock rates it as a ‘Strong Buy’ with eighteen positive, one ‘Neutral,’ and no ‘Sell’ recommendations.

Simultaneously, the average TSM stock price target for the next 12 months stands at $543.66 for a 19.17% expected rally from the latest close, per the data Finbold retrieved from TradingView on October 1.
