Wall Street analyst updates Palantir stock price target

Wall Street analyst updates Palantir stock price target

Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) received a higher Wall Street price target after DA Davidson reaffirmed its bullish stance on the software and artificial intelligence company.

In a research note published on September 11, analyst Gil Luria maintained a ‘Buy’ rating on Palantir stock and raised the firm’s price target to $250 from $200.

According to the note, customer interest in AI sovereignty continues to strengthen Palantir’s position in the enterprise AI market.

The analyst highlighted the company’s ability to act as a control plane and orchestration layer that helps organizations manage multiple AI models while controlling costs.

DA Davidson also pointed to the technology company’s expanding role in helping customers choose, deploy, and manage AI systems across different providers.

The firm believes this approach is resonating with enterprises seeking greater flexibility rather than relying on a single AI vendor.

The higher valuation target was also supported by broader strength across software stocks and confidence in Palantir’s long-term growth trajectory.

The latest DA Davidson target places the analyst among the most bullish voices on Wall Street. According to analyst consensus data from TipRanks, 23 analysts currently cover Palantir stock, with an average 12-month price target of $200.53 and a high target of $255.

PLTR stock fundamentals

The analyst upgrade follows a strong second-quarter performance from Palantir. The company reported revenue of $1.94 billion, up 93% year-over-year, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.41, ahead of Wall Street expectations.

Growth was particularly strong in the U.S. commercial segment, where revenue surged 149% to $764 million. U.S. government revenue also posted growth of about 90%.

Following the earnings report, Palantir raised its full-year 2026 guidance. The company now expects revenue of approximately $8.15 billion, representing annual growth of more than 80%, while projecting adjusted free cash flow of between $4.5 billion and $4.7 billion.

Recent developments have also strengthened Palantir’s AI strategy, with the company having expanded its partnership with Nvidia by integrating Nemotron open models into Foundry and its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), supporting sovereign AI deployments for sensitive industries and supply chains.

While many analysts remain optimistic about Palantir’s AI-driven growth, strong profitability, and expanding commercial business, valuation continues to be a key point of debate.

The stock trades at premium multiples compared to most software peers, leaving investors closely watching whether the company’s rapid growth can continue at its current pace.
