Despite suffering a 21.92% plunge since October 7 and failing to gain the confidence of the wider Wall Street, Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ: SMCI) stock is not entirely bereft of bulls.

Indeed, in a note published on Thursday, October 15, Rosenblatt Securities’ Sajal Dogra judged the latest developments at Supermicro as positive and reiterated his previous ‘Buy’ rating and $51 price target.
SMCI has been successful in presenting a ‘clean’ financial statement for the fiscal year 2026 (FY2026), and the decision to appoint Mark Long as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is praiseworthy, according to the analyst.
Additionally, Dogra estimated that Supermicro shares remain undervalued, especially following the latest developments, thus meriting both the positive recommendation and the 45.34% forecasted upside relative to the latest close at $35.09.
Notably, the expert from Rosenblatt first assigned the price target in late August, when SMCI stock was changing hands at $37.24.
Analysts predict SMCI stock price in the next 12 months
Meanwhile, Sajal Dogra is something of an outlier among the recent Wall Street Super Micro Computer equity ratings. Specifically, SMCI stock is, overall, considered a ‘Hold’ with two positive, three ‘Sell’, and eleven ‘Neutral’ recommendations, per the data Finbold retrieved from TipRanks on October 16.
Additionally, Supermicro shares are, on average, expected to rally 12.24% to $39.38 in the coming 12 months; however, the number represents the result of all notes issued within the last three months.

Finally, September and October have been dominated by ‘Hold’ and ‘Sell’ recommendations, with Rosenblatt being the only outlier between the two months.
Susquehanna’s Mehdi Hosseini was by far the biggest bear to update his price target within the timeframe and, along with viewing SMCI stock as a ‘Sell’, he also forecasted a 57.25% collapse to $15 on September 12.
Citi (NYSE: C) analyst Asiya Merchant was the biggest bull – once Dogra is disregarded – with a ‘Hold’ recommendation and a $45 12-month Supermicro stock price target assigned on October 9.
