Walrus Welcomes Claynosaurz as Mainnet Launch Partner

Press Releases

Palo Alto, California, March 27th, 2025, Chainwire

Walrus, the decentralized storage platform originally developed by Web3 infrastructure builder Mysten Labs, celebrates its much-anticipated Mainnet launch today. Joining the Walrus ecosystem on Day 1 is Web3 animation and entertainment brand Claynosaurz. Featuring a vibrant collection of claymation-style dinosaur characters, Claynosaurz’s family-friendly brand creates interactive experiences, curates limited-edition digital collectible drops and with Walrus’s help, will dynamically upgrade its user experience for its burgeoning community.

“As an animation brand, our needs for storage are complex and nuanced,” said Jacques Letesson, Head of Product at Claynosaurz. “We’ve tried a number of storage solutions, and Walrus clicked for us immediately. Not only does it meet our need for reliability and lightning-fast speed, but through its native programmability, we’ll be able to dynamically upgrade entertainment experiences for the Claynosaurz community.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Claynosaurz as our Mainnet launch partner,” said Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive at Walrus Foundation. “From customizable collectibles onchain to permissioning in-person experiences, Walrus will unlock new ways to explore and enjoy the Claynosaurz universe, and we can’t wait to support the team in their journey.”

Walrus launched on testnet in October 2024. Previous partners announced include 3DOS, the global 3D printing network, committed to storing its printing designs on Walrus, as well as Linera; a layer 1 blockchain designed to host microchains; and Talus, which uses Walrus and Sui to build its AI agent framework.
