Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced that its Bybit Card has reached 3 million users globally, according to information shared with Finbold on Thursday, April 16.
Bybit said the card expanded from zero to 1 million users in under two years, reached 2 million within the following six months, and surpassed 3 million approximately nine months later. Usage spans categories such as travel, groceries, dining, and retail.
At launch, the Bybit Card enabled global crypto and fiat payments at online and offline merchants.
It is available as both a virtual and physical card, supports mobile payment services including Apple Pay and Google Pay, and does not charge issuance or annual fees, although features vary depending on the approved card program.
Rewards and partnerships expand card ecosystem
As the product evolved, Bybit added multi-asset support, automatic crypto-to-fiat conversion, and a rewards programme offering between 2% and 10% cashback on everyday spending.
The card has also been included in targeted campaigns, with up to 50% cashback in selected markets and 100% subscription rebates for services such as Netflix, Spotify, ChatGPT, and Trading View for eligible Tier 2 and above users, subject to monthly limits.
More recently, Bybit introduced additional incentives aimed at new users, including deposit rewards and 10% cashback on initial spending.
Alongside product updates, Bybit has expanded the card’s reach through partnerships linking payments with entertainment, sports, and retail.
In 2025, the Bybit Card became the official payment partner of Tomorrowland Brasil, offering benefits such as exclusive presale access, cashback on tickets and merchandise, on-site rewards, and limited-edition card designs. The partnership has since been extended through 2027.
The company has also entered sports sponsorships, including a title partnership with the Stockholm Open from 2026 to 2028, providing cardholders with early ticket access, premium seating opportunities, and cashback on event-related spending.
At a regional level, Bybit said the card has supported localized adoption through partnerships with retail and service platforms. In Georgia, a collaboration with City Mall included seasonal campaigns offering 50% cashback, while additional integrations with European commerce platforms have expanded the card’s use in everyday transactions and digital marketplaces.
