Wall Street has overall bullish AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) price targets in the long term, as the stock has rallied nearly 30% in the past month. In the short term, however, the upside might be somewhat limited, at least according to a machine learning algorithm.
Notably, the Finbold AI prediction agent sees, on average, only 0.37% upside potential from the current price of $631.98, setting an AMD stock price target of $634.32 on October 31.

The tool used three artificial intelligence (AI) models to generate the price, and loooking at each individual forecast, it appears that the AI models were split on where Advanced Micro Devices stock could trade by October 31.
For example, DeepSeek expects AMD shares to reach $582.45, implying a 7.83% decline from the stock’s reference price at the time of the forecast. Meanwhile, Gemini 3.5 Flash is more bullish, projecting $675.50, or a 6.89% gain. ChatGPT-5.7 Luna sits between the two, with an AMD share price target of $645, representing a 2.06% upside.
Together, the three AI models thus point to a relatively balanced outlook overall, with the models disagreeing on the strength of AMD’s next leg higher rather than unanimously calling for either a rally or a correction.

Analysts have high hopes for AMD stock in Q4 2026
With the next AMD earnings report scheduled for the first week of November, several analysts have expressed faith that the company can report overall positive results, which can in turn serve as a growth catalyst in the coming months.
Cantor Fitzgerald, for example, reiterated its “Overweight” rating and $700 AMD price target on October 4, arguing that the chipmaker could receive another boost from upcoming earnings if its fourth-quarter guidance points to stronger-than-expected Helios shipments. In addition, the firm remains bullish on AMD’s server CPU business, citing continued market-share gains and the upcoming Helios AI platform..
Citi is even more optimistic, raising its AMD share price target to $800 from $575 on October 5. Specifically, analyst Atif Malik believes the firm is positioned to be a major beneficiary of the growing demand for CPUs driven by agentic AI. In fact, he estimates that the total CPU market could expand from roughly $29 billion in 2025 to $300 billion by 2030, representing a 60% compound annual growth rate.
