Michael Burry, the investor known as ‘The Big Short’ for predicting the 2008 housing crash, revealed his latest portfolio moves on Thursday, July 30.

Disclosed on Burry’s blog, the update shows a mix of increased bearish bets on artificial intelligence (AI) stocks and investments in consumer and healthcare names.

Notably, Burry made no sales, focusing rather on adding to existing positions. For example, he claimed to have increased his bearish exposure to Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Micron (NASDAQ: MU) at $880 and $506 per share, respectively, and added to his Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) short position at $506.

Furthermore, Burry increased his long exposure to several companies he believes have become more attractive after steep declines, namely DraftKings (NASDAQ: DKNG) at $23.4, Zoetis (NYSE: ZTS) at $76, and Lululemon (NASDAQ: LULU) at an average price of approximately $118.

It is also noteworthy that the investor left his Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) and Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) positions unchanged, maintaining his existing exposure to the two high-profile growth companies.

Michael Burry’s new stock moves

Burry described DraftKings and Flutter as ‘larger positions,’ while calling Zoetis and Lululemon ‘full positions.’ Elaborating further, he said the stocks represent opportunities following extended declines and described the moves as a ‘turnover into stronger hands.’

Market reactions to the stocks mentioned by Burry remain mixed. For instance, retail sentiment toward Micron and Nvidia remains bullish despite recent struggles, being rated ‘Strong Buy’ on TipRanks. On the other hand, Lululemon has attracted neutral sentiment, with a ‘Hold’ consensus, as per the same data.

The Nvidia move was also notable as Burry had revealed an increase in his bearish position against the semiconductor giant just a couple of days prior. His expanded position, of course, built on a $186 million bet Burry established during the third quarter of 2025, before deregistering Scion Asset Management.

Overall, the latest disclosures continue to reflect Burry’s long-standing displeasure with the AI sector.
