Despite the apparent losses, Saylor’s strategy remains unchanged. Indeed, Strategy rose in early trading today after the company resumed its Bitcoin purchases following a ten-week pause, putting the stock on track for its strongest monthly performance in 21 months, as it is now up 36% on the monthly chart.

The latest purchase, further emphasized by Saylor on X, amounted to 4,603 BTC for about $370 million over the past week.

“Strategy has acquired 4,603 BTC for $370M, increased USD Cash by $29M, and repurchased $152M of STRC. As of 8/30/26, we hold 845,050 BTC and $6.71B of USD Assets, bringing Net Leverage to 0.0%,” Saylor wrote.

The purchase marks Strategy’s first reported Bitcoin acquisition since June 22, when the company added 520 BTC. According to the post, the company also increased its USD Cash holdings by $29 million and repurchased $152 million worth of its STRC preferred stock.

Overall, the latest purchase brings Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC, worth approximately $65.7 billion at the current Bitcoin price of $77,807, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to its Bitcoin-focused treasury strategy.
