One of the more than 1,000 stocks President Donald Trump disclosed to have traded in a September 22 filing, PTC Inc. (NASDAQ: PTC), printed a remarkable 33.49% one-day gain on Monday, September 5, as it soared from $144.03 at the Friday close to $192.26.

The American computer software and services company managed its sudden rally thanks to the news that a French firm called Schneider Electric (EPA: SU) agreed to acquire it for $22.6 billion.
Considering that President Trump is recorded as having purchased up to $6.15 million worth of PTC shares in 2026 and sold no more than $80,000, he may have enjoyed an unrealized profit as high as $2 million on October 5 alone.
Still, since the equity was, at the October 2 close, 8.53% above where it stood on March 12 – the commander-in-chief’s original trade – 8.13% below the biggest, February 10 trade, and 15.38% above the July 20 – second-largest purchase – price, the daily gain was likely smaller.
These are President Trump’s most impressive stock market trades of 2026
Meanwhile, despite possibly being the most sudden, PTC Inc. is neither the only nor the largest winner among President Donald Trump’s stock market bets.
For example, as Finbold initially reported on September 23, the billionaire Republican purchased up to $115,000 worth of Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) shares in late July – roughly a month before the late August cryptocurrency market rally started.
Considering MSTR shares ended the seventh month at $93.28 and closed on Monday, October 5, at $164.43, the commander-in-chief is up approximately 76.28% in slightly more than two months.
Dell (NYSE: DELL) – originally purchased on February 10 – is another winning bet since the equity rose 338.29% from $126.01 to $552.29.

The memory giant SanDisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) represents another massive investing success managed by President Donald Trump or his investment team. The commander-in-chief has made multiple SNDK purchases since January 6, and the equity is up 387.42% since that day.
