Wall Street analyst updates AMD stock price chart

Wall Street remains firmly bullish on Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD), with Citi among the latest firms to reaffirm its positive stance on the stock.

The bank maintained its ‘Buy’ rating and $575 price target, citing continued momentum across AMD’s AI, data-center, and server CPU businesses. With shares trading around $505, the target implies nearly 14% upside.

The reiterated rating reinforces an already strong Wall Street consensus. According to data from 34 analysts over at TipRanks, AMD carries a ‘Strong Buy’ rating, with 28 ‘Buy’ recommendations and six ‘Hold’ ratings.

The average 12-month AMD stock forecast stands at $647.19, implying roughly 28% upside from current levels. The highest price target on Wall Street is $1,250, while the lowest is $465.

Now, Citi analyst Atif Malik maintained the firm’s bullish outlook following discussions with AMD management at the Citi Global TMT Conference.

The bank highlighted several growth drivers, including accelerating demand for data-center products and continued expansion in the server CPU market.

Notably, AMD raised its estimate for the server CPU total addressable market to $220 billion by 2030, up from a previous forecast of $25 billion in 2025.

Management also said its data-center business is expected to more than double next year, supported by growing investment in AI infrastructure.

Upcoming AMD products

Another key catalyst is the upcoming launch of AMD’s MI450 AI accelerator. The product is scheduled to debut this quarter, with production expected to ramp up further in the fourth quarter and into next year.

At the same time, the technology company said volume expectations for its Helios rack-scale platform in 2027 are already exceeding initial projections.

The company also disclosed that three major anchor customers have submitted demand forecasts above their original commitments.

The bullish AMD stock outlook is closely tied to the company’s growing exposure to artificial intelligence workloads.

AMD estimates the server CPU market could reach $220 billion by 2030 as enterprises increase spending on AI-driven computing infrastructure.

The company aims to capture roughly half of that market, implying a potential $100 billion server CPU revenue opportunity.

Beyond AI accelerators, AMD expects its CPU segment to grow more than 80% year over year in the second half of the current fiscal year.
