Bitcoin (BTC) price forecasts are turning bullish, so investors are looking toward the final months of the year with one big question: What will Bitcoin price by at the end of 2026?

To help answer that question, we asked ChatGPT to forecast Bitcoin’s price on December 31, 2026, and the answer it gave does indeed suggest further upside.

Specifically, the chatbot projected a central estimate of around $90,000 by New Year’s, representing a potential 7.6% gain from Bitcoin’s current price of $83,665.

However, OpenAI’s leading machine learning algorithm also outlined some other outcomes that could come true under specific market conditions.

ChatGPT’s Bitcoin price prediction for the end of 2026

In its bearish scenario, ChatGPT said, Bitcoin could fall to between $60,000 and $75,000. Such an outcome implies a downside of up to 28.3% and could follow weakening demand, sustained outflows from Bitcoin ETFs, or financial conditions that discourage investors from holding riskier assets.

The bullish scenario, which could lead to a rally of about 49%, sees Bitcoin potentially reaching $110,000 to $125,000, or even higher, provided institutional demand strengthens and investors return to the cryptocurrency market in greater numbers.

In addition to institutional demand, Interest rates remain another important factor when it comes to Bitcoin price prediction 2026. This is because changes in monetary policy and expectations for future rate cuts can influence investors’ appetite for risk assets, including cryptocurrencies.

Market sentiment could also prove decisive. That is, renewed optimism around digital assets may support a recovery, while concerns about the global economy or financial markets could trigger another sell-off. However, even if these conditions favor Bitcoin, price movements remain difficult to predict over a short period.
