Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) stock continues to attract considerable attention from Wall Street amid continued demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and advanced semiconductors.
The optimsm largely follows Nvidia’s reported strong second-quarter financial results, which highlighted the scale of demand for its AI-related products as total revenue reached $96.2 billion, increasing 18% sequentially and 106% year over year.
Data Center revenue, the company’s primary growth engine, climbed 117% annually to $89 billion, accounting for the vast majority of total sales. As a result, Nvidia shares are up 8% year-to-date (YTD), trading at $204 at press time.

Wall Street consensus on Nvidia
Overall, analysts remain overwhelmingly bullish on its prospects despite recent fluctuations, with all analysts covering the chipmaker over the past three months unanimously assigning it a “Buy” rating.
The average 12-month Nvidia stock price target stands at $323.45, representing a potential upside of 58.% from the last closing price. The highest forecast is $465, implying approximately 127% upside, while the lowest target of $275 still suggests a potential gain of 34%, according to TipRanks market-tracking data.
However, recent analyst actions reveal some differences in expectations. On November 2, 2026, Melius Research lowered its Nvidia price target from $420 to $315, although the revised target remains approximately 54% above the reference share price. The firm maintains a “Buy” rating.
Earlier, on September 26, Barclays maintained both a “Buy” rating and a $275 price target, and Bernstein also reiterated its own “Buy” call a day prior, keeping its target at $400. Similarly, Morgan Stanley maintained the same rating and a $300 target on September 22.

Nvidia stock outlook 2027
Despite Melius Research’s recent downward price revision, the broader analyst consensus remains firmly positive. As mentioned, even the lowest of the Wall Street price targets implies further upside.
In the past quarter, GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) came in at $2.46, while non-GAAP diluted EPS reached $2.22, exceeding analyst expectations of approximately $2.09 to $2.1. Both GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins stood at 75%, while non-GAAP net income totaled $53.95 billion.

The results underscore the semiconductor company’s ability to translate surging demand for accelerated computing and AI infrastructure into substantial earnings growth. In fact, management expects third-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of approximately $108 billion.
In short, then, analysts appear to see little issue with Nvidia’s outlook. The next update on the company’s performance will come in the shape of its Q3 fiscal 2027 results on November 17, 2026.
