Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) is set to pay its next quarterly dividend in less than two weeks, providing shareholders with another cash payout.

The company will distribute a dividend of $0.25 per share on October 1, 2026. Based on the latest declaration, an investor holding 1,000 NVDA shares will receive $250. At Nvidia’s current share price of $222, such a position is worth about $222,270.

The upcoming payment is unchanged from the previous quarter. On an annualized basis, Nvidia pays $1 per share, giving the stock a dividend yield of about 0.45%.

Nvidia’s forward payout ratio stands at 6.36%, reflecting its focus on reinvesting most of its earnings into growth.

The semiconductor giant has also increased its dividend for three consecutive years while maintaining its quarterly payout schedule.

Nvidia dividend increase

The upcoming payment follows Nvidia’s biggest dividend increase in recent years. For instance,  in May 2026, the technology company raised its quarterly payout from $0.01 to $0.25 per share, increasing the annual dividend from $0.04 to $1 per share.

The move came alongside an additional $80 billion share repurchase authorization, signaling a stronger commitment to returning capital to shareholders.

While Nvidia offers a dividend, the stock’s investment appeal remains centered on its dominant position in the artificial intelligence market rather than income generation.

Notably, Nvidia’s shareholder returns are supported by a rapidly expanding business. In its latest quarter, the technology giant reported revenue of $96.22 billion, up 106% year over year, while data center revenue surged 117% to $89 billion.

Nvidia also forecast approximately $108 billion in revenue for the current quarter, above Wall Street expectations.

At the same time, demand remains strong among hyperscale cloud providers, with Amazon Web Services agreeing to deploy an additional 2 million Nvidia GPUs.

Management has also stated that supply constraints continue to prevent the company from fully meeting customer demand.
