Banking on Huawei’s cloud technology
In this line, Huawei will utilize its expertise in cloud technology and support for various industries to enhance the Staynex platform. Rex Lei, the Managing Director of Huawei Cloud Singapore, noted that the firm is likely to build on the partnership to enhance the travel industry. According to Lei:
“We are confident that this partnership will enable us to develop more efficient and advanced information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for the travel and hospitality industry.”
Additionally, the partnership also presents an opportunity for Staynex to accelerate its expansion into the Chinese market and beyond while catering to the diverse needs of travelers worldwide.
The partnership aligns with Huawei’s commitment to venture into the AI scene with a focus on the industrial use of the technology. Already, the company has highlighted some of its pathways to achieving this goal. For instance, the company plans to set up a cloud-based system simulation laboratory in Russia and connect it with its cloud hub in Guizhou.
