As Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: SPCX) stock traded above its initial public offering (IPO) price for the past 30 consecutive days through September 21, 2026, Adam Jonas, a Wall Street analyst at Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS), expects a rally towards a new all-time high (ATH) over the next 12 months.
Jonas reiterated a ‘Buy’ rating for SpaceX stock, according to a note sent to clients on Sunday. The expert also maintained a 12-month price target of $300 for SPCX.
With SPCX trading at $154.35 in Monday’s pre-market, this analyst signals a potential 94.36% upside over the next 12 months. Morgan Stanley reaffirmed an ‘Overweight’ rating for SpaceX since it now runs an ecosystem spanning planetary infrastructure, satellite connectivity, and artificial intelligence (AI) compute.
He added that SpaceX has benefited greatly from capitalizing on deep physical AI synergies with Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA). Specifically, SpaceX has integrated high-density compute, real-time telemetry, and autonomous execution into a single closed-loop ecosystem.
Furthermore, Jonas believes that SpaceX has a reliable competitive edge, since it optimizes total intelligence cost per watt. Notably, this company combines orbital networking, custom hardware, and ground-level power systems to scale frontier AI models far more efficiently.
