As Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: SPCX) stock retested its first major resistance level around $149.33 over the past two weeks, following its post-earnings report rally of more than 35%, ChatGPT, an OpenAI-backed Large Language Model (LLM), expects SpaceX’s price to hit a new all-time high (ATH) by 2030.
On August 19, ChatGPT predicted that SpaceX stock could reach $350, which it specified as a base case. With SPCX’s price trading at $142.50 during Wednesday’s pre-market session, this Artificial Intelligence (AI) system expects a 145.61% upside over the next four years.

Meanwhile, ChatGPT gave a bear-case estimate of $100 to $180. This target is likely to happen if SpaceX experiences Starship delays and disappointing AI spending, amid Starlink growth. As for a bull scenario, this AI set a target of above $500, fueled by long-term contracts through Starship and Starlink.
However, the AI emphasized the base case due to the company’s high valuation compared to its quarterly revenue amid rising capital expenditure (CapEx).
“The reason I’m not using $500+ as my base case is valuation. SpaceX is already extremely expensive: its IPO valued it around $1.75T, while its Q2 2026 revenue was $7.8B. Revenue nearly doubled year-over-year, but capital expenditure reached about $18B, with AI infrastructure accounting for most of the spending,” ChatGPT noted.
SpaceX stock price performance
SpaceX stock has experienced heightened volatility since its oversubscribed initial public offering (IPO) on June 12. After hitting an ATH of around $225.8 on June 16, SPCX’s price fell by 53.56% to its all-time low of approximately $104.86.
Following its debut quarterly results, SPCX’s stock price has surged over 35%, closing on Tuesday trading at $143.34.

As such, SpaceX had a market capitalization of roughly $1.9 trillion at the time of publication. In the near term, SPCX stock may drop to a new ATL, as Finbold reported. Nonetheless, ChatGPT expects this company to experience growth over the coming years, irrespective of the political climate in the United States.
