According to the advanced artificial intelligence (AI) analyst of XRP prompted by Finbold, the popular cryptocurrency is generally unlikely to end 2026 in the green.
To begin with, Anthropic’s platform, Claude AI, determined that the late 2026 conditions are not favorable for a breakout. The model highlighted the hawkish Fed, the fact that the CLARITY Act stalled, and the ‘nervous mood’ from the now-patched decade-old XRP Ledger bug as contributing – and detrimental – factors.
Finally, Claude highlighted Bitcoin (BTC) rejecting the range between $86,000 and $90,000 and the ‘steady but small’ exchange-traded fund (ETF) demand as the final causes for it setting its XRP price target for December 31, 2026, at just $1.45; 4.32% above the press time price of $1.39.

Meanwhile, Alphabet’s (NASDAQ: GOOGL) AI platform, Google Gemini, proved somewhat more optimistic. This model highlighted the recent volatility and the pullback from late September highs, large open interest, and the indecisive relative strength index (RSI) as limiting factors.
Gemini, however, also factored in institutional integration and public market access, and ultimately estimated that XRP could rally 11.51% to $1.55 by the end of 2026.

ChatGPT and DeepSeek forecast strong XRP rally in late 2026
Elsewhere, OpenAI’s platform and arguably the most famous AI in the world, ChatGPT, came out as far more optimistic than its peers.
This model judged institutional demand – and ETF flows – as ‘encouraging’ and underlined the recent Ledger developments as bullish.
It, nonetheless, conceded that the broader market, especially in light of Bitcoin’s October 12 plunge below $83,000, remains XRP’s ‘biggest obstacle’ but then set its sights at a comparatively optimistic $1.80 – 29.50% above the press time price, but 2.17% below January 1, 2026.

Finally, China’s most famous platform, DeepSeek, went in a largely opposite direction to its peers. The AI highlighted the regulatory developments across the last 12 months and whale accumulation as generally bullish.
DeepSeek also cited technical analysis (TA) such as XRP having spent months compressed in a $1.30 to $1.59 range, the tightening of Bollinger Bands, and the Fibonacci extension levels allegedly cited by Standard Chartered as indicating that ‘the market is coiling for a directional move.’
Thus, despite acknowledging that historical cycles keep the possibility that a stronger downward move would invalidate the bullish setup, the Chinese AI forecasted a 72.66% rally to $1.80 by the end of 2026 as the most likely path for XRP:
A sustained close below $1.20 would invalidate the accumulation thesis and point toward $1.00 or lower. But with ETF demand structurally persistent, institutional engagement accelerating, and the regulatory path materially clearer than at any point since 2020, the base case is a breakout toward $2.40 by December 31, 2026.
AI indicates XRP likely to end 2026 at $1.80 on average
Finally, it is notable that, out of the four platforms consulted, DeepSeek was the only one to forecast the cryptocurrency moving into the green in the year-to-date (YTD) chart by December 31.
Indeed, at its press time price of $1.39, XRP is 24.43% down in 2026 despite the relatively strong late August and late September rallies.

Notably, however, if the average price target is taken as the forecast – $1.80 – it would mean that the collective wisdom of advanced AI estimates XRP will have dropped a slight 2.17% in 2026.
